Police in Cartegena, Colombia, say a man has been arrested for the killing of a woman on a bus.
Mabel Cartagenas death was not in the headlines because her murder was not widely publicized.
But it has garnered national attention, drawing national attention to the unsolved case.
Police say they arrested a 28-year-old suspect Thursday in the killing, which occurred in Cartags city of Cartageni, on Oct. 14.
He was not charged in the case.
Cartagena is one of the most dangerous cities in Colombia, where gangs and cartels control much of the drug trade.
It is home to Colombia’s largest concentration of narco-traffickers and the city has been dubbed the “drug capital of Colombia.”
