CricInfo is reporting that Colombia’s flower market will be taking over Colombia’s capital, Colombo.
The Colombo Times newspaper, citing unnamed sources, said that Cartagenas flower market would open from Monday.
The news comes amid a wave of economic woes and protests in Colombia’s capital as part of a wider crackdown against the countrys indigenous population.
The protests began last year, following a deadly clash between police and demonstrators in Bogota, the capital of Colombia’s far west.
The demonstrations, which drew tens of thousands of people, have continued to grow in size.
Colombia has been under an economic crisis since 2015, when the country’s economy plunged to a new low and inflation reached 50% on average.
